House of Trestles

House of Trestles is a contemporary Surf Hostel and Bicycle Hub steeped in San Clemente surf culture and street art. Located on Surfer’s Row, you are within walking or bike riding distance to 16 local breaks, including world famous Trestles. This hip hostel houses a fleet of Lost Surfboards and full lineup of Ripcurl wetsuits so you can demo the latest gear.  They also have bikes with surf racks so you can hit all 16 surf breaks in San Clemente.  Whether you are new to the sport or wanting to brush up your skills, the hostel’s instructors offer some pro tips.  Perhaps a lesson is best after awakening with morning yoga and a strong cup of Joe, which you can brew in the chef-worthy kitchen.  When you aren’t catching a break, you can chill in a colorful common area or catch some z’s in one of the hostels 5 surf-themed rooms.  Options include single semi-private beds or entire room rentals for full privacy.
