  • Welcome to the best mountain bike ride in Montana:  The York 38 Special

    A challenging and exciting mountain bike ride covering 38 or 76 miles of breathtaking scenery. On the York 38 Special or the Spirit of 76, you will gain 3,000 vertical feet form lowest point of the ride (Nelson), traveling mainly on dirt roads and singletrack.

    For families, there’s also the Lucky 13 Ride — 6 miles to Vigilante Campground and back along beautiful Trout Creek Canyon.

    There will be numerous rest stops with water, sports drinks, and homemade baked goods! Bike mechanics and EMTs available on the course.
